I’ll try my best to keep this review as spoiler-free as possible. ![]() It’s more action-packed, thrilling and plot driven. I’m glad I did because this sequel stepped up to its game. Honestly speaking, I’m hesitant on continuing this trilogy and it took me a while to convince myself on giving it a second chance. Early of 2017, I’ve read Vendetta which I’ve liked but not obsessed with it unlike the mafia books I’ve enjoyed. I literally forgot to write my full review of this book because I’m busy by the time I finished it (New Year’s Eve). Soon another mafia clan spoils the fragile peace – and with her heart drawn in one direction and her blood in another, Sophie’s in deeper than ever. But Nic, the Falcone brother who represents everything she’s trying to forget, won’t give up on their love – and it’s Luca’s knife she clutches for comfort.
